Brooke & Ryan's Unique Wedding at Chatham Retro Suites

Brooke and Ryan's wedding was one for the books! It was the most emotional ceremony I've seen in a while, and even I found myself tearing up at times. These two lovebirds met over 10 years ago on the first day of university classes. Their connection has only grown stronger over the years, and their love was palpable throughout their entire wedding day. It's clear that Brooke and Ryan are truly meant for each other.

The Chatham Retro Suites provided the perfect backdrop for their unique wedding. Brooke looked stunning in her white and black wedding dress, complete with all black accessories. The beautiful black flowers, provided by Brooke’s aunt, added a touch of elegance to the day. They had a unique vision for their wedding, and it came together perfectly. Despite the forecast, the rain held off for most of the day, allowing us to head outside for family photos and intimate shots of the couple. The venue itself was a photographer's dream – every corner revealed a unique piece of art, vintage decor, or colourful tiles. We had a blast exploring the hotel and capturing their beautiful moments on camera.

As the evening progressed, the love and admiration for Brooke and Ryan were evident during the heartfelt speeches from their closest friends and family. With over a decade of stories and memories, it was heartwarming to hear everyone gush about how perfect these two are for each other. After the speeches and a delicious dinner, it was time for the cake cutting – or in this case, the "cheese cutting." Brooke and Ryan had opted for a stack of three cheese wheels instead of a traditional cake, bringing a fun and quirky twist to the celebration.

The night continued with the dances. Brooke and Ryan shared a beautiful first dance, followed by Ryan dancing with the three important women in his life since his mother's passing: his sister, his aunt, and his mother-in-law. The final dance was between Brooke and her father. Her father has ALS, making this moment incredibly special and emotional. As I looked around, everyone had tissues in hand, and I was definitely tearing up again. It was an absolute pleasure to capture such a heartfelt moment for them.
