June flew by in the blink of an eye! I'm not even sure where it went, to be honest. We had so many amazing sessions this month. June was truly the month of returning couples!

Katrina & Eric's Wedding at Bogey’s Inn

We started the month off strong on June 1st by capturing Katrina & Eric's wedding at Bogey’s Inn, a fantastic waterfront venue with amazing views. Their highlight video is almost finished, so keep an eye out for their blog post coming later this month. In the meantime, check out their highlight reel on our Instagram.

Photographer and Videographer Meetup

On June 3rd, we hosted our first-ever Photographer and Videographer meetup in London. The event was held at Soho Studios, an amazing studio you can rent downtown for any type of shoot. I wanted to host this meetup to connect with local photographers and videographers, exchange tips and tricks, and just hang out with like-minded people. We had an amazing turnout, and I believe I will be hosting another one again someday!

Sister-in-Law's Prom Photos

June 6th was a special day as I had the privilege of capturing some prom photos of my beautiful sister-in-law. I truly cannot believe she has graduated high school. When I first met her, she was only 7 years old. She is a beautiful woman, and I was honored to capture some photos of her and her friends before they headed off to prom!

Meghan and Richard's Farm Wedding

June 8th, we headed out to Meghan and Richard's wedding. It was a truly beautiful wedding on her family's farm, surrounded by so much history and love. It was a special place for these two to get married. Their wedding highlight is almost finished and will be posted in the next few weeks, but for now, check out their Instagram reel highlight for a quick snapshot of their day!

Ruby and Enos' Family Photos

On Sunday, we headed out to St. Thomas to capture one of my previous couples wanting some updated family photos with their handsome little man! Ruby and Enos were BMann Studios clients in 2022 for their beautiful wedding at Elm Hurst. Two years later and one beautiful little boy, it was time to update their family photos. Ruby's mom, dad, and brother joined in for the session. Look how cute these photos turned out. I can't wait for October when I get to capture Ethan's cake smash session!

Newborn Session with Little Miss Wren

Later that week, on June 12th, another of BMann Studios' wedding couples from 2023 came into the studio for their newborn session. Little miss Wren was born on June 4, 2024, and it was a true honor to capture her newborn photos. I mean, just look how cute these turned out. Mom and Dad wanted to include some baby blue into her session, and I couldn't be happier with how they turned out.

Maternity Photos with Laura and Tanner

June 14th brought another BMann Studios wedding couple from 2023. You may recognize these two from my destination wedding last November. They are now expecting a baby girl in just a few short weeks! Laura, Tanner, and I headed over to Parkwood to capture some stunning maternity photos. This momma was truly glowing, and I cannot wait to meet this little one!

Cake Smash with Little Miss Elliott

On June 18th, little miss Elliott was in my studio for her 1-year cake smash. Again, I do not understand how it has already been a year since capturing her newborn session. This session was so much fun; she is such a happy little baby who smiled through the whole session, enjoying each part of it as much as the last. I don't know what she liked more: the cake or the bath with the bubbles!

Family Session at Springbank Park

The next day, I headed to Springbank Park to capture this beautiful family of four. You may recognize them from my fall minis a few years back! After that session, they found out they were expecting their second child, and two years later, I got to capture this beautiful family of four. We had a ton of fun during this session. If you've had a session with me and your toddler, I try very hard to get them to participate in the way they feel comfortable. This little man gave me a run for my money, but I stopped the session and listened to what he wanted, and we were able to get a ton of amazing shots!

Jen and Julian's Wedding in Norfolk County

June 22nd, I headed off to Jen and Julian's wedding in Norfolk County. They got married on her aunt's beautiful property with their friends and family present. The day was truly stunning, and everyone had an amazing time. Not to mention, the food was amazing as they brought in a food truck for dinner. I can say without a doubt that food trucks at weddings are the best idea ever! However, on my way home from this wedding, I unfortunately ran over a deer right outside London. The car in front of me hit him, and I couldn't go anywhere but right overtop of him. Luckily, the only damage to my car was a flat tire, and I was able to make it home before it completely deflated.

Christmas Giveaway Photoshoot with Breanna

The next day, however, I was supposed to meet Breanna and her family across the city for their Christmas Giveaway photoshoot. Luckily, they were able to come over to my side of the city, and I walked to the park to capture some stunning photos! The rain held off till the very end of the session, and we were able to get so many amazing shots!

Venue Tour with Camilla & Tristen

Last but not least this month, I toured Camilla & Tristen's venue with them, who are getting married in August at Forest City Golf. It was my first time there, and I am happy to have gone to see their venue and chat with them about all their wedding ideas before the big day! Do you have a wedding coming up and are going on a last venue tour? Invite your photographer to make sure they have a lay of the land and can ask any questions or voice any concerns about the plan for the day.

Offline for a Best Friend's Bachelorette

And for the long weekend, I was completely offline celebrating my best friend getting married. We had her bachelorette at the cottage for the weekend, and it was the best time ever. No, I'm not just saying that because I'm the maid of honour and I planned the entire weekend! We did a guess-where trip, followed by a day in Bayfield, and then headed to the Grand Bend strip to get matching tattoos! We didn't let the cold weather deter us from having an amazing time and celebrating the beautiful bride. Only 80 days till she says "I DO"!

Wrapping Up June

Well, that is a wrap on June. Like I said before, it flew by so fast, I still find myself writing April as the date. July is looking a little slower than June, but you never know what I will get up to! Do you have an idea for a session or have a little one's birthday coming up? Book your session today to secure your spot!
